Department of Technical Studies regularly organizes the following conferences and events:

The Informatics conference focuses on presenting the teaching experience of academic staff, particularly in computer science subjects. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for academics and professionals from the corporate sphere to meet and further for establishing collaboration between colleagues, individual schools and research collectives.

The aim of the Trends and Technologies Conference is to facilitate a meeting of prominent industry representatives in the Vysočina Region with students and academic staff of the University of Applied Sciences and to help transfer information about innovations and trends in the industry. The conference takes place in one day and is divided into several non-overlapping thematic areas, especially in the fields of applied informatics, engineering, industrial automation, robotics and Industry 4.0. All presentations will take the form of active lectures. Participation in the conference is free of charge for participants, and the conference languages are Czech, Slovak and English. For practitioners, the conference is an opportunity to present interesting issues from practice to students of our technical study programmes and thus promote their interest in the field, in technology in general and, last but not least, in their company.

Trends and Technology 2024 Conference

The Innovations in Additive Technologies (INAM) conference focuses on innovations in additive technologies, 3D printing of metal, plastic, composite, concrete and other materials. In addition, the measurement and testing of physical and mechanical properties of 3D printed materials, structures and solids in relation to product manufacturability will be discussed. The conference aims to connect academia with application and industrial partners.

The INAM2023 conference is held under the auspices of Czech Society for Mechanics and Czech Technology Platform for Additive Manufacturing.
