Recognition of courses and credits

General Rules Governing the Decision on the Recognition of Courses at the Department of Technical Studies of the University of Applied Sciences

• All applications for recognition of courses sponsored by the Department of Technical Studies taken at another HEI or at the VŠPJ as part of a previous degree are considered on an individual basis.
• The degree of conformity with the course taught at the VŠPJ, in terms of content, scope and method of completion, is particularly assessed. The conformity of content must be at least 75%.
• Acceptance or non-acceptance is decided by the degree programme guarantor after consultation with the head of the department and the course guarantor, if necessary.
• Optional courses are not recognised, except for courses taken as part of Erasmus+ exchange visits organised by the VŠPJ.
• Courses that have been taken more than 5 years since their completion are not recognised.
• Only courses in which the applicant has been classified with grades A, B or C, or 1, 2 are recognised.
• The subject Electrical Safety cannot be accepted.
