Presence form of study

The basic aim of the study is to achieve a comprehensive readiness of graduates to perform professional activities in the broad field of applied engineering by providing a practically oriented education. The curriculum of the professionally oriented study programme is a response to strong demand from industry and is designed to enable the student to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. Graduates will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of machine and plant design, rigid and ductile mechanics, materials science, manufacturing technology, automation and control fundamentals. The general competences of the student in terms of his/her future employment are supported by the teaching of a foreign language and the inclusion of subjects developing economic and managerial competences and soft-skills in the areas of production economics, quality management, logistics, communication and presentation, project management and teamwork.

Combined form of study

The portfolio of courses is the same as for the full-time form of study, the study takes place on Saturdays. To be admitted, applicants must provide a high school diploma.
