Information on the state final examinations

The study of Applied Informatics, Applied Engineering and Applied Mechanical Engineering programmes is completed by a state final examination.

State final examination guidelines

The State Final Examinations are governed by the Study and Examination Regulations of the College of Polytechnics and the valid Guidelines for State Final Examination. Both documents can be downloaded from the school's information system.

State final examination schedule

The schedule with dates related to state final examinations in the summer semester 2024/2025 June can be found here, and dates in the summer semester 2024/25 September can be found here.

Further Information

The state final examinations consist of the actual state exam from the degree programme and the defence of the final thesis. Both parts are usually held on the same day; the state examination from the degree programme precedes the defence. Both parts of the final state examination are open to the public, except for a committee meeting. Detailed information about the course of the state final examinations can be found here.
